Rant #5: Pot shots from the Democrats; Mainstream's embrace of Homosexuality

First, I'd like to address the whole "we don't like Bush, so lets make him the butt of our jokes at every possible occasion" issue.

Now I may be wrong (happens quite often) but I thought the Florida re-count was motivated by the Democrats as well as the re-counts that followed. Sure, George Bush lost the popular vote, but the Electoral College votes are what determines our president. I thought that was old news. It seemed as though each time the votes were re-counted, Gore lost by more and more votes. It seemed as though the Democrats initiated the re-count, then criticised the Supreme Court for stepping in and preventing any more tax-payer money from being spent by declaring Bush the president after three re-counts showing Bush as the winner.
Then, this last election disappointed most Democrats even further after Bush won both the Popular and Electoral College votes. I say most Democrats were disappointed because I know of one Democrat at my place of business who voted for Bush. I work side by side with a Democrat who stated that all the Bush-Bashing on MTV didn't make him want to vote for Kerry. He said he didn't like the tactics used by MTV and the other stations. President bush won without dispute. Next thing I know, I hear a handful of Democrats formulate their own conspiracy theories as to how Bush got elected. The most popular was the hackable electronic ballot machines. One spoke of the president winning in states with more votes than registered Republicans (as if a person couldn't vote any other way than they registered). The thing about it is none of the Democrats would have disputed the election results if Kerry had won and I doubt the Republicans would have either.
Now the Democrats are hell-bent on preventing the Republican led House from having their way. They seem to be acting as little kids throwing fits because the big kids won't let them play outside of the rules.
I used to be a Democrat. Being a black man, I was led to believe that Republicans were anti-black. But I saw how the republicans would take defeat with stride and get work done anyway. Then I noticed how the views of the Republicans were closer to my views. I also saw how Former President Clinton was an embarasment to the military and common decensy. He hated the military and loved the gays. The only thing I could see he was good at was looking good for the camera, say what the mainstream wanted to hear, destroying the morale of the Armed Forces, and getting out of trouble.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but one may as well face the facts and accept that the desired candidate lost. Sour grapes. Get over it.

Now, on to Homosexuality.
I recently watched an episode of Cold Case Files that all but celebrated Homosexuality. It was practically trying to force the idea that a gay lifestyle is perfectly alright. Now if there had been a character on the show that was portrayed as absolutely disagreeing with the life style (not like the brother and boyfriend of the white girl that fell for a black girl but a neutral character of the present day that openly didn't accept homosexuality as an alternative lifestyle) you can bet you'd hear about it on the news the following evening.
It's no secret, I believe homosexuality is a sin before God, and you can't live a lifstyle such as that and believe you're saved. You cna't live in sin at all and expect to be called a Child of God. Romans Chapter one calls it a sin and I believe it's somewhere in Deutaronomy where God calls it an abomination. "The Bible was written by men" you may say, but when was the last time you subjected yourself to rules and morales that absolutely condemned your way of life?
I don't hate gays. I've meet some very good gay people. The best neighbor I ever had was a bisexual housewife. Now that woman could show a Christian a thing or two about loving your neighbor. But I believe the Bible. Hell is no joke folks. A good life won't cut it. It's gotta be a life saved by Jesus and subject to the dominion of the same. I don't hate gays. I hate their lifestyle. God didn't create gays, our society did. I'm heartbroken by the idea of a gay man or woman that will attempt to serve God without forsaking the very sin that makes their efforts fruitless.

I know what you're thinking. "Well, you posed a question in an earlier post whether or not bondage is allowed in sex." First of all, it was a question posed concerning a married couple whom faithfully serves Christ. Second, it wasn't ment to be serious. I don't think I could bring myself to bind my wife, a faithful servant of God and created in God's image, for the sake of getting off. Even if it is acceptable in the sight of God, it wouldn't feel right to me.

That's all I have. I'm completely spent now. I don't have time to check my spelling because I'm at work, so I'll probably check it tomorrow.
And to all you gay folk, I don't hate you. I love you just as much as any other soul.
